Hello! I’m Steph, co-owner and cake designer at Merryfall Cakes Bakery Ltd.
What began as a love of baking has grown into a family-run bakery trusted by hundreds of couples, families and businesses across Cheshire and beyond.
Alongside my husband, Reuben, we handcraft every order ourselves, from baking the sponges to the final finishing touches, because we believe every customer deserves something made with genuine care.
Our Christian faith is at the heart of everything we do, shaping how we serve our customers with honesty, kindness and excellence. We’re passionate about creating cakes that become part of life’s biggest celebrations and the memories that come with them.

Every wedding cake is individually designed, so pricing depends on the size, design, number of servings and any decorative details. Our bespoke wedding cakes typically start from £450.00. After your initial enquiry, we’ll provide a personalised estimate after our consultation.

Yes, we personally deliver and set up wedding cakes at venues across Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Liverpool and North Wales. Celebration cakes are available for collection or local delivery depending on your location. During your enquiry we’ll confirm the most suitable delivery option for your order.

We recommend booking your wedding cake 9-18 months before your wedding, especially if you’re getting married during the busy spring and summer months. We only accept a limited number of wedding cakes each week to ensure every couple receives the highest level of care and attention.

We offer a selection of bakes suitable for different dietary requirements, including some gluten-free and dairy-free options. However, all products are prepared in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts and other allergens, so we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when making your enquiry so we can advise you on the most suitable options.

We also offer wholesale partnerships for cafes, coffee shops, farm shops and other independent businesses looking for high-quality handmade bakes.

For wedding cakes, the process is simply. Start by sending us an enquiry with your wedding date, venue and approximate guest numbers. We’ll then make sure we are available before inviting you for a virtual consultation and posted samples. We’ll then prepare a personalised estimate, once you're happy to go ahead, a £150 booking fee secures your wedding date in our diary. We’ll guide you through every step from design to delivery, making the process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
